Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Finds Multichannel Fundraising Success

Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago draws praise as one of the best children’s hospitals in the country. But of course it takes money – and lots of it – to maintain such excellence in pediatric care.

Currently, the nonprofit pediatric hospital is engaged in a campaign to raise at least $500 million, making it the second-largest fundraising initiative in the hospital’s history. Oak Brook, Illinois-based retailer Ace Hardware Corp. recently chipped in $10 million toward that goal.
